Man charged with DWI, vehicular homicide after killing bicyclist

A 28-year-old Louisiana man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after he allegedly struck and killed a bicyclist in Terrytown on March 21. The accident happened at approximately 8 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 428 near Peter Street, according to authorities.

Married couple dies in motorcycle wreck

Louisiana State Police confirmed that a married couple died in a motorcycle crash that occurred on March 15. The deceased victims were from Texas, and they were both 59 years old. According to initial reports about the crash, the couple was ejected from their motorcycle after a car driver cut them off while driving on Highway 121.
